Do you still remember the expensive Chanel Bicycle? Here comes another one from Chanel. Karl “Krazypants” Lagerfeld is at it again. He’s made a bike, which we covered, as well as other sporting equipment like skis. If Krazypants can find a way to put a Chanel logo on something that is already expensive and then charge more for it, he’s all over it. Particularly if it can be done in a wacky, eccentric way makes everyone go “…waaaah?” And that’s the case with the all-new-for-spring Chanel Segway. It’s got an enormous classic flap stuck on the front of it like a basket on an old-fashioned bicycle and Chanel’s quilted caviar leather covering the wheel wells. I don’t even know what else could be said about this…thing. Except that Krazy Karl is the only person I could ever see riding it, except for maybe Victoria Beckham, and maybe her kids behind her, on mini ones. No price information was given, but their bicycle from several seasons ago was several thousand dollars, and this thing has a motor, so…draw your own conclusions.
Freshness and Femininity Meet in Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche
When I opened the ELLE magazine in May, a sweet smell reached my nostrils. It was so light and fresh. And then I discovered this surprise freshness was from Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche, which is a lighter version of 2002’s Chance fragrance launched March, 2007 and created by Chanel’s in-house perfumer, Jacques Polge.

Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche is a chypre floral fragrance for women. Top notes are citruses and cedar; middle notes are pink pepper, water hyacinth and jasmine; base notes are teak wood, iris, amber, patchouli, vetiver and white musk. The top notes are a great combination to wake up the senses, and then you can smell a hint of pepper and the florals seem to lighten up the lemon and cedar smell. The base not is to emphasize the refreshing yet feminine impression. After several hours, the smell wafts away and leaves a soft floral scent, but you can still smell the sexy citrus in the background.
